Terms and Conditions

Returns and Exchanges

If the customer wishes to return or exchange one or more items, they may do so within 15 days of receiving the order, provided that the products remain intact, sealed, complete, and in their original packaging. The original packaging must not be damaged and must be returned in its original condition.

For product bundles and promotional offers, all items included in the bundle or promotion must be returned together. Partial returns of individual products from a bundle or promotional set will not be accepted.

Returns or exchanges of incomplete, damaged, scratched, used, or otherwise altered products will not be accepted. Products with a remaining shelf life of less than one month are also not eligible for return or exchange.

When contacting us, please provide your username, order number, product description or reference, and the reason for the return or exchange request.

You should also provide the information required for reimbursement, such as your IBAN or other relevant contact details.

General Terms and Conditions

By using our website and purchasing from our online store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.

All intellectual property rights relating to the software and content made available through this website are owned by Sabonetes e Companhia and are protected under Portuguese law.

Customers may save, print, or display content from this website solely for their personal use.

The publication, modification, distribution, reproduction, or commercial use of any content from this website is strictly prohibited, as is linking such content to any business or commercial activity without prior authorization.

Registration

The website may be used without registration. However, certain features may require the creation of an account.

To access all content and services available through our online store, users aged 18 years or older may register an account.

To do so, users must complete a registration form and provide the following mandatory information:

  • First and last name

  • Email address

  • Password

All information provided by the User must be accurate and truthful. Users are responsible for updating their information whenever changes occur and are solely responsible for any false, incomplete, or inaccurate information provided.

Sabonetes e Companhia shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the improper or negligent use of the password chosen by the User.

Registered Users will have access to their shopping cart and a personal account area containing the information provided during registration. Users are encouraged to add their postal address and telephone number, as these details are required for future orders.

The processing of personal data by Sabonetes e Companhia complies with applicable data protection legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

Limitation of Liability

Users are solely responsible for the content of any information submitted or transmitted through the website.

Users acknowledge that the use of the website may not be completely secure and that information sent or received may potentially be intercepted by unauthorized third parties beyond the control of Sabonetes e Companhia. Accordingly, Sabonetes e Companhia shall not be held responsible for any misuse of information by third parties.

Users further acknowledge that access to and use of the website may occasionally be interrupted and that the website may contain bugs, errors, technical failures, or other limitations.

Payment Terms and Methods

Following completion of the order process, the Customer shall have the payment period specified by the selected payment method to complete payment.

If payment is not confirmed within the specified period, the order will be automatically cancelled.

Sabonetes e Companhia currently accepts the following payment methods:

  • Bank Transfer

  • PayPal

Delivery Process

Orders are prepared from Monday to Friday during the morning period and dispatched within a maximum of 2 business days after payment confirmation.

Deliveries are made by courier service. Estimated delivery times range between 2 and 5 business days for Mainland Portugal, the Islands, Spain, and the European destinations listed below.

Orders will only be shipped after payment has been successfully confirmed.

Customers may track the status and progress of their orders through the "Orders" section of their Customer Account.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the order qualifies for free shipping under the conditions outlined below.

  • Orders over €150: Free Shipping

  • Orders up to €150: €19.90

Mainland Portugal

  • Orders over €50: Free Shipping

  • Orders up to €50: €5.50

Portuguese Islands (Azores and Madeira)

  • Orders over €75: Free Shipping

  • Orders up to €75: €19.90

Spain

  • Orders over €65: Free Shipping

  • Orders up to €65: €9.90

*European destinations include Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and Romania.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, including courier delays, customs procedures, public holidays, or adverse weather conditions.

Order Cancellation

Customers may only cancel an order if payment has not yet been completed or confirmed.

Returns and Exchange Procedure

If the customer wishes to return or exchange one or more items, they may do so within 15 days of receiving the order, provided that the products remain intact, sealed, complete, and in their original packaging.

For bundles and promotional offers, all items included in the bundle or promotion must be returned together. Partial returns will not be accepted.

Returns or exchanges of incomplete, damaged, scratched, used, or altered products will not be accepted. Products with less than one month remaining before expiry are also excluded.

The request should include the username, order number, product reference, and reason for the return or exchange.

Any reimbursement information, such as an IBAN or alternative payment details, should also be provided.

Product Information

Sabonetes e Companhia makes every reasonable effort to ensure that all information relating to products available in the online store is accurate and up to date.

If a purchased product differs materially from the information presented online, customers shall be entitled to terminate the purchase contract in accordance with applicable law.

Should a product become unavailable after an order has been placed, the customer will be notified by email or telephone and may cancel the order and receive a full refund if payment has already been made.

All products, promotions, and offers are subject to available stock.

Information relating to prices, products, specifications, and promotions may be amended at any time without prior notice.

In exceptional cases, product information, pricing, or promotional details may be incorrectly displayed. In such circumstances, Sabonetes e Companhia reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders relating to such products.

If a complaint relates to a specific order, customers have 15 days from the date of receipt of the order to submit the complaint and, where applicable, return the relevant products.
